Becoming a teacher was a beloved childhood dream.
Learning about mosaics on Delos and opening ASTERIA workshop was the beginning of making that dream come true.
Being able to teach the art of Mosaics for the past 20 years has filled me with joy.
I enjoy teaching both children and adults and giving them a chance to learn about this art and its history.
It’s especially important to me to show how Mosaic Art utilizes the concept of recycling from its origins in antiquity through modern day.
Prospective students have the choice of a single two -hour session (one hour for children),where they will learn some history and make their own small mosaic to have a memento, or a longer seminar type course for a more in-depth experience.
